Dr. Carmine Amadeus, now in colour! Putting the 'mad' in 'mad scientist'. Why is he shouting FANTABULOUS? Because he's crazy...crazy like a fox!

Originally this character wore glasses, then I thought maybe they should be goggles because scientists need goggles...I'm still not sure which they are. Maybe they're PRESCRIPTION GOGGLES. Which would be a very practical invention, actually.

As he is a very archetypical character I'm probably going to get lots of 'reminds me of...' so I here's what DID influence me, in order. Anything else is a coincidence.

The expression 'crazy like a fox': his species
Falco (the band) and the song Rock Me Amadeus: his last name (random, I know)
Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory: some outfit ideas
Some anime character(s?) I forget the name of: the white-from-glare glasses you can't see through
Professor Membrane from Invader Zim: more outfit ideas

With my hands I used opencanvas (for sketching and lines) and Photoshop (for colouring) though.

I actually have an easier time using my tablet and OC to sketch, compared to drawing on paper. Everybody's a little different though.

Ha ha! That's awesome. Love how you remembered the slit in the back of the coat, works well with his tail.

You know, if you alter this a little you'd have an awesome logo or even a neato screen print for shirts. :nod:
